| There is a direct link and regular train service from London Waterloo to Portsmouth Harbour, where it is only a short step to the Wightlink Fast Cat service that crosses to Ryde Pier Head, which in turn connects by the Island Line train to Sandown. You can buy a through-ticket from London Waterloo to Sandown.
